Four processing stages of the sludge dewatering process

- Sep 12, 2018-

In the process of sludge dewatering equipment treatment, its typical process can be divided into four stages: sludge concentration, sludge digestion, sludge dewatering and sludge disposal. In the sludge dewatering process, the main purpose of the first stage is to reduce the initial volume of the sludge and reduce the volume or equipment capacity of the subsequent treatment structure.

The next step is to realize the digestion process of the sludge dewatering process, which is mainly to decompose the organic matter in the sludge; the third stage is sludge dewatering, which further reduces the sludge; the last stage is the pollution The mud is treated and the final sludge is absorbed in some way.

Usually, in the process of sludge dewatering process, the supernatant or filtrate produced in the above four stages still contains a large amount of pollutants, and should be returned to the sewage treatment system for treatment. The above typical sludge treatment process can make the sludge after treatment to achieve “four transformations”, namely reduction, stabilization, harmlessness and resource utilization.
