The working process of the continuous decanter centrifuge and the small feed flow rate

- Jun 21, 2019-

In the process of continuous decanter centrifuge, as the rotation speed of the drum rises, the separation factor rises, and the separation effect increases during the operation (after the differential pulley is determined), between the spiral and the drum The differential speed increases, the processing capacity increases, but the vibration and noise of the centrifuge also increase, and the service life will decrease. Generally, it is very important to select the appropriate speed under the premise of meeting the separation requirements. Therefore, the rotating speed of the machine drum is higher at 3200r/min, and the working speed is recommended to be in the range of 2000~3000r/min.

The continuous settling centrifuge has a small feed flow rate, the axial flow velocity of the feed liquid in the rotating drum is also small, the residence time of the material in the machine is long, the separation effect is improved, the feed flow rate is increased, and the axial flow velocity is also increased. The residence time of the material in the machine is reduced and the separation effect is reduced. In addition, the feed flow rate is also limited by the spiral slagging capacity. When the solid content of the material is high and the feed amount is too large, the sediment after separation may not be discharged in time, causing the drum to block the material, affecting the separation, and the extreme state may not even be separated, causing the machine to block the material failure. Therefore, when using the machine, the appropriate feed flow rate (ie, the treatment amount Q) should be selected according to the solid phase content and separation requirements of the material. Generally, the better feed flow rate can be determined after comparing the separation effects at various flow rates. The solid slag discharge of the machine at △n=10r/min must be less than 1.0m3/h.
